Materials and Design
1mm white powder coated steel body and emergency
housing. Colour matched injection moulded acrylic end caps
and toughened clear glass diffuser.
Installation and Maintenance
Suitable for mounting direct on to wall via 247mm, small
version, and 515mm, large version, fixing centres. Minimum
recommended mounting distance from ceiling 0.9m and 1.8m
from floor. Cable entry is via a 20mm dia hole in the rear of
the luminaire. Two diffuser securing screws are easily
removed for quick lamp maintenance.
Electrical
Cable entry to the various configurations of the Assis can be
made via a number of strategically placed 20mm diameter
knock-outs in the rear of the luminaire body. Electrical
connections are made to a 3 way polyamide screwed
terminal strip mounted in the body of the luminaire. A fused
screwed terminal strip can be provided on request.
Classification for Protection and Standards
Against electric shock Class 1 protected with earthed
metalwork. It is important that this product is installed
according to the relevant IEE Regulations. Against ingress
of dust and moisture IP22 Technical Specification when
assembled c/w diffuser. The Assis range of luminaires is
designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of
BSEN60598 2-1
