Materials and Design
Seam welded body and protective front cover constructed
from 1.0mm white polyester coated steel. The front cover is
hinged to the body, opening through an angle of 175°, and
is clamped by a series of quick release steel catches.
Gear Tray and louvre fabricated from ultra-high purity
anodised aluminium sheet.
Installation
The Cruz can be suspended or secured directly to a ceiling
or trunking via an array of drill point indents in the major
face of the base metalwork. The Cruz can be wall mounted
at 45° to the vertical by securing on the angled face
dictated by the hinges. Wall mounted versions have to be
specified when ordering.
Electrical
Cable entry to the Cruz is via three 20mm diameter knock-
outs in the base metalwork of the luminaire. Electrical
connections are via a 3 way polyamide screwed terminal
strip secured inside the base metalwork. 240 Volt, 50Hz
nominal supply.
Classification for Protection
Against electric shock Class 1 protected with earthed
metalwork. It is important that this product is electrically
installed according to the relevant IEE Regulations. Against
ingress of dust and moisture IP20 Technical Specification.
Standards
The Cruz range of luminaires is designed and manufactured
to meet the requirements of BSEN60598 2-1.
