Materials and Design
The Istan is neat and distinctive IP65 luminaire with 2x3W Luxeon led light source, Frosted glass diffuser, die-cast aluminium base, 316 grade stainless steel outer trims. Available with either, white, amber, red and green LED colour options.
Installation
The Istan can be surface mounted via holes located in the rear of the base, this luminaire also has a Besa box mounting capability, the entry and mounting holes are at the rear which are sealed to maintain the IP65 integrity. Secure base via the holes located to the rear of the main body, locate the diffuser ensuring the seal is positioned correctly finally secure the bezel via the three tamper-proof screws.
Electrical
Cable entry only through the rear of the luminaire, Electrical connections are made to a 3 way polyamide screwed terminal strip mounted on the gear tray of the luminaire. A fused screwed terminal strip can be provided on request. (230-240Vac/50Hz Nomial supply)
Maintenance
Remove the three tamper-proof screws located on the front of the bezel to replacement the lamp.
Classification for Protection
Against electric shock Class 1 protected with earthed metalwork. It is important that this product is electrically installed according to the relevant IEE Regulations. Against ingress of dust and moisture IP65 Technical Specification.
