Other information
Materials and Design Fully boxed and flanged steel body and flat steel perforated and lined baffles. All steel components are fabricated from 0.7mm thick white powder coated sheet. Louvre High output LG3 compliant, limiting luminance of 1500Cd/m
2 at 65˚, specular wedge bladed louvre located in rows adjacent to the perforated baffles. Louvres and baffles are located in a central basket which is secured to the luminaire body by 4 quick release wishbone fixings for easy lamp/gear access.
Installation Simple lay-in fully/semi recessed/modular luminaire compatible with 15 and 25mm exposed tee ceilings. Installation can be either parallel or at right angles to the ceiling grid. Concealed side arm adjustment/fix allows the luminaire to be installed through plasterboard of thickness 5-25mm. Electrical Cable entry through the rear of the luminaire is via either 20mm dia knock-outs or a 42.75x16.6mm covered hole which allows various panel mounted plug/socket arrangements. Electrical connections are via either a 3 way polyamide screwed terminal strip or a fused terminal strip which is available on request. Maintenance The centrally located louvre/baffle basket is secured by four wishbone fixings for quick release for easy lamp maintenance. Classification for Protection Against electric shock Class 1 protected with earthed metalwork. It is important that this product is electrically installed according to the relevant IEE Regulations. Against ingress of dust and moisture IP20 Technical Specification. Standards The Luis range of luminaires is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of BSEN 60598 2-1.
