Materials and Design
The Santona has the capability for suspension or direct mounting either to trunking or ceiling. Trunking and ceiling mounting is via the trunking fixing kit which spaces the body at a sufficient distance from the mounting surface to enable air flow, and cooling of the lamps, to take place. Suspension, by chain or steel wire, is via 4 fold-up tags in the base of the luminaire. Electrical Cable entry through the rear of the luminaire is via a single 20mm diameter knockout. Electrical connections are via a 3 way polyamide screwed terminal strip or a fused terminal strip which is available on request. Classification for Protection and Standards Against electric shock Class 1 protected with earthed metalwork. Against ingress of dust and moisture IP20 Technical Specification. The Santona range of luminaires is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of BSEN 60598 2-1.
