Materials and Design
Rolled and formed white powder coated 2.2mm thick steel winged reflector and integral gear housing c/w 1.4mm thick gear housing cover. A notch/slot design in the gear cover/housing is used to secure these components. An array of symmetrically placed 68x10mm slots along the length of the winged reflector creates the uplight component for the Vito. Lampholders are secured to injection moulded polycarbonate end sections. The central perforated and lined baffle, manufactured from 0.70mm thick white powder coated steel, is secured to injection moulded profiled polycarbonate end caps. The end caps are secured to the lampholder end panels via an arrangement of snap action clips.
Installation
The Vito can be either suspended or surface mounted via various hole arrangements in the rear of the gear housing. These holes are designed to permit suspension by either chain or steel cable.
Electrical
Cable entry to Vito is via a 20mm diameter knock-out in the rear face of the gear housing. Electrical connections are made to a 3 way polyamide screwed terminal strip situated adjacent to the 20mm diameter cable entry. 240 Volt, 50Hz nominal supply.
Classification for Protection
Against electric shock Class 1 protected with earthed metalwork. It is important that this product is electrically installed according to the relevant IEE Regulations. Against ingress of dust and moisture IP20 Technical Specification.
Standards
The Vito range of luminaires is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of BSEN 60598 2-1.
